Mercedes-Benz India on Monday said that quarterly price increases are becoming the new norm because of the rupee depreciating against the Euro, and other economic factors.

“I think the price increase on a quarterly basis is becoming the new normal till the time we adjust to the current exchange rates so even to reach the current levels, it may take another year or a year and a half to recover because we can’t pass on everything in one shot; it has to be gradual in that sense,” Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mercedes-Benz India, told businessline .
