The Union Health Ministry on Thursday launched youth
Launched by Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the initiative will bring together five MY Bharat volunteers and five National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets in each team to raise awareness about TB symptoms, encourage early diagnosis and treatment, support patients in completing their treatment and address stigma associated with the disease.

As part of the initiative, the government has also launched a JOSH flipbook and brochure for community awareness activities. An e-Sangini service, Khushi Avatar, will provide information on TB symptoms, treatment and medication reminders in 12 Indian languages.
A dedicated JOSH Teams feature has also been added to the TB Mukt Bharat App to support monitoring of the teams and their activities.
