A 29-year-old man in Motril was seriously wounded in a shooting incident in the Santa Adela area of town on Tuesday the 21st.

According to witnesses, around 19.10ha man was behaving menacingly and firing off shots in the Varadero-Santa Adela area of town near the port.
The Policía Nacional arrived and cordoned off the street where the shooting had been taking place, which is near the Centro de Desarrollo Turístico and Playa de Poniente. However, by the time they had arrived, the shooter had already fled the scene.
Although the police have not ruled out any motive, they mainly believe that it was a “settling of old scores.”
