Cambridge United will host MK Dons on the opening day of the upcoming League One campaign.
The U’s will take on a side who finished third in the division last season, before their defeat in the play-off semi-finals.
Mark Bonner’s side will face the Dons at the Abbey on Saturday July 30, with their first away game taking place against Oxford United on August 6.
The U’s then host newly-promoted Exeter City on August 13, before away trips to Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic.

United face Ipswich Town away from home in September, prior to hosting recently relegated Derby County and promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday in October.
The first derby against Peterborough United is away from home on October 29, in the first league fixture between the sides for more than two decades.
The U’s have back-to-back away trips at Derby and Sheffield Wednesday at the turn of the year, on December 29 and January 1, prior to a home clash against Ipswich on February 4.
United take on Portsmouth at home, MK Dons away and Charlton Athletic in three of four fixtures in March.
The return derby against Peterborough will take place at the Abbey on April 15, with the season ending on May 6 with a home clash against newly-promoted Forest Green Rovers.
The U’s will be aiming to build on their highest league finish in 28 years, with Bonner’s side placed 14th in League One on their first season in the third tier for two decades.
