Arsenal vs Reading postponed in WSL

Arsenal’s FA Women’s Super League match on Sunday was suspended after Reading Reading for Covid-19 charges and injuries.

The WSL system has been disrupted by a second suspension this week after Everton vs Chelsea were suspended on Friday.

A statement from the North London team said: “We can confirm that Sunday’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League match against Reading was suspended after the Football Association approved a request from Reading.”

Reading statement added: “We apologize for the inconvenience caused to those planning to attend.

“The health, safety and well-being of the players, coaching staff and club staff is paramount and we wish all those affected to recover quickly and fully.”
