The Interministerial Drug Price Commission is responsible for setting the prices of medicines provided by the National Health System, especially for the sale of laboratory and health products and other items. Minister Carolina Darias confirmed that “the ultimate goal has been to set as low a price as possible, to save money on a regular basis for the supply of the drug through medical treatment.”

As a result, the agreement, which is ratified by the consortium, has set the bargain price for antigen tests to self-identify at 2.94 euros. This price will be used for all antigen tests to identify those sold in pharmaceutical offices that have been approved for sale by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products.
